Superb Seongju Life Festival

It was Friday on 17th May, 2013, and a holiday of Budha’s birthday made it as first day of well awaiting long weekend.

As usual KTO provided us an unique opportunity to explore an ancient village of Korea, its Korean Culture as well as a beautiful Life festival in a nearby city.

BnB Heros were the real heros of the trip as they facilitated all the trip.
They provided us transport, breakfast, lunch , a dinner during this memorable and interesting one day trip.
Initially, after a long travel from Seoul we reached directly for lunch, it was traditional Korean food with many side dishes.
Then we went to see ancient houses of a very old village. There we saw many old houses. Guide informed us all about the village, its history, houses, ancient life style, and all related interesting stories even about many flowers, plants and trees. Beautiful scenes of green hills and villages were seen from those houses. Some houses were model other were the real houses of different people, who were living in there actually.

Then BnB Heroes Buses brought all of us to the lovely Seongju Life festival, it was a huge festival, with alots of colors, music, excitement and fun. Seongju is a small city famous for its Melons, we had some and those were delicious.

There were many stalls of different things, each stall was unique , some were food stalls, others were totally traditional.
Me with my friend Alam Zeb were interviewd by a Korean host which was showen on T.V locally.

A stage was also set for the performances and the a traditional and cultural parade was also there of many groups, having many dances, drums, even horses, etc

A small water park was also set up in a stream, where all kids were having their best time.
There were many families in the festival and kids were really enjoying.

I noted the festival was not only an outing for the people of Seongju but also providing them education, information and awareness about important life aspects related to health, agriculture, and community.

In short the Seongju Life festival was full of Life and smiles.

BnB Heros gave us opportunity to bring some friends, so I managed to bring my couple of friends. And I have also made some new friends there as well.
I enjoyed the trip a lot, and my naughty friends company made this trip one of the best of trips of my Korean Life.
Thanx KTO, Thnx BnB Heroes.

B Boyz Battle

Free Style Street dancing is the charm, activity, sports, passion and style of next generation. And KTO is one of the organization which is not only providing the opportunity but also creating  a well organized platform to various types of street talents and also bridging these to the level of fun gatherings, competitions and tourism. It is the need of time, not only creating opportunities but also providing the ways to excel your hidden talent. It is highly appreciated in my opinion.

It was finally a full spring, a Sunday, a sunny day, in Seoul, with stunning performances of stylish free style street dancing competition.
On 5th of May, 2013, KTO Headquarter  in Seoul  was over crowded with the fans of free styles dancing at the event called Free Style Session 2013 Korea, 3 on 3 B Boy Event.

Before the start of the competition it was very good to see members from different B Boys teams, judges from competiton along with many spectators specially few forigners were practicing and performing in the dancing circles not on stage but in front of KTO building near all of us, all were participating equally so it was quite entertaining and fascinating.

Stage was all set with D.J his sound storms while the B Boys Battle began with worthseeing free style dance moves. On the stage all teams fought with their own styled moves, only couple of teams were weak and they were knocked out earlier but all other teams gave each other a real tough time, many matches were tie and were decided after given another chance.
There were also many combined or coupled and teams moves involving all two or three team members. Those were highly appreciated by all.

There was also a girl member in a team, whose balance, twists, and moves were equally great.
Here is her pic, with one of the most difficult moves in the free style dancing and just look at her balnce.

There was a competition ended in a tie two times and so the excitement level was many times high, after another rebattle one team was finally winner.
The final was really tough, and both teams showed their hidden and secret moves in the end , deciding one was a very tough call but judges did honestly well in the end.
I like the sportsman spirits in all the teams members, as soon after the dance battle they used to embrace with each other having smiles and laughs.
And then it was Jay park time. Waow…… a celebrity on the stage and so near from the crowd that all were super excited and shouting for him. Indeed a great sight. He was given souvenir and he spoke something fantastic for his fans and the fans were like honored.
In the end winner team was announced and given the shield and prize…
It was a great event in the sense that many foreigners were there to see the local street Korean talent and to appreciate them whole heartedly.
